Field Responsibility

Outdoor Product Use

Outdoor recreation may involve changing weather, unstable terrain, heat, flame, wildlife, water, transportation, equipment failure, physical exertion, limited communication, and other hazards. No product can eliminate every risk or replace sound judgment, preparation, supervision, and appropriate training.

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for the intended user, location, climate, activity, capacity, load, fuel source, electrical supply, installation method, and expected conditions.

  • 01
    Inspect Before Every Use

Check fabric, poles, frames, fasteners, wheels, cords, valves, burners, electrical components, batteries, and structural connections.

  • 02
    Follow Capacity Limits

Never exceed stated weight, occupancy, heat, pressure, electrical, fuel, wind, or structural limits.

  • 03
    Use Appropriate Supervision

Keep children, pets, and inexperienced users appropriately supervised, particularly around fire, stoves, lanterns, moving wagons, and assembled frames.

  • 04
    Respond to Conditions

Discontinue use when weather, damage, instability, ventilation, fire risk, or another condition makes continued use unsafe.

Category Responsibility

Use by Product Type

The following framework highlights common responsibilities associated with EasyRoam product categories. It supplements rather than replaces the instructions and warnings supplied with each product.

Product Category Primary Responsibility Important Checks Stop Use When
Camping Tents Select suitable terrain and secure the structure correctly. Fabric, seams, poles, stakes, guylines, ventilation, weather exposure. Structural damage, unsafe wind, flooding, fire risk, or instability appears.
Camping Tarps Use secure attachment points and maintain safe tension. Anchor strength, runoff direction, clearance, wind load, fabric condition. Anchors loosen, fabric tears, water pools, or wind becomes unsafe.
Camping Cots Assemble fully and remain within the stated weight capacity. Locks, joints, fabric tension, frame position, level ground, tent clearance. Frames bend, locks fail, fabric tears, or the cot becomes unstable.
Sleeping Gear Select insulation and support appropriate for conditions. Temperature, moisture, cleanliness, material condition, user comfort. Materials become damaged, contaminated, excessively wet, or unsuitable.
Camping Chairs Use on stable ground and remain within the stated capacity. Frame locks, fabric, feet, hinges, level placement, pinch points. Joints loosen, frames deform, fabric fails, or the chair tips unexpectedly.
Camping Wagons Load evenly and maintain control on suitable terrain. Wheels, handle, brakes, frame, load distribution, slope, child safety. Control is reduced, parts loosen, wheels fail, or terrain becomes unsuitable.
Camping Stoves Operate outdoors with correct fuel and safe clearance. Leaks, connections, ventilation, stable placement, flame control, local rules. Fuel odor, leaks, damaged components, unstable flame, or unsafe ventilation occurs.
Camping Lanterns Use the correct power source and keep units dry where required. Batteries, charging equipment, heat, cords, housings, moisture protection. Overheating, swelling, unusual odor, damaged wiring, or water intrusion occurs.
01 / PREPARE Before Use

Read and Inspect

Read all supplied information, confirm compatibility, inspect every component, and practice assembly or operation before relying on equipment in remote conditions.

02 / OPERATE During Use

Monitor Conditions

Observe weather, terrain, loads, heat, ventilation, children, pets, moving parts, fuel, batteries, and structural stability throughout use.

03 / MAINTAIN After Use

Clean and Store

Clean, dry, inspect, recharge, disconnect, fold, and store products according to their requirements before the next trip.
